UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate UX/UI Designer to join our innovative team in Durban. The selected candidate will play a vital role in crafting user-friendly interfaces and delivering exceptional user experiences for our digital products. You will collaborate with product managers and developers to not only create aesthetically pleasing designs but also ensure functionality and usability.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and visual assets that align with business goals.
• Work with product teams to define user requirements and functional specifications.
• Conduct A/B testing on design variations to optimize user engagement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design.
• Mentor junior designers and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Figma

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS: Familiarity with front-end development practices using HTML and CSS.
• Experience with user research methods: Experience in conducting user testing and surveys to gather insights.
