As an Environmental Consultant in Cape Town, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating environmental impacts, developing sustainable practices, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Responsibilities

• Assess and mitigate risks associated with environmental projects.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Advise on waste management and pollution control strategies.
• Support the preparation of environmental documentation for projects.
• Review and interpret environmental data and reports.
• Engage with various stakeholders for feedback and collaboration.
• Assist in developing strategies for carbon footprint reduction.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability standards and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
• Regulatory Compliance

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
