Job Description

We are seeking a passionate QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks, collaborating with development teams to enhance product quality, and driving continuous improvement within the QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation frameworks for new and existing applications.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects.
• Work closely with developers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies to improve product reliability.
• Review and analyze user stories for testability.
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant QA certification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in QA automation testing

Technical Skills

• Selenium
• Java
• JIRA

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• ISTQB Certification
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with API testing tools: Familiarity with tools like Postman or SOAP UI for API testing.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools: Understanding of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
