Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter to operate our advanced machinery while ensuring that our cigarette products meet stringent quality standards. You will play a vital role in our production line by removing defective products and maintaining high efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervisors to identify areas for process improvement.
• Handle minor troubleshooting of machinery as required.
• Keep accurate logs of production output and defect rates.
• Maintain materials and equipment inventory for the machine.
• Promote workplace safety and adherence to company policies.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate

Experience

• Experience in quality control or quality assurance is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Quality control software knowledge
• Knowledge of tobacco production processes

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience using quality control software: Familiarity with tools that aid in monitoring production quality.
