Job Description

Seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team in Johannesburg. In this role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, ensuring optimal protection measures are in place.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response efforts including handling breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Research and keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Assist in developing incident response and disaster recovery plans.
• Engage with third-party vendors to evaluate security practices and collaborative efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years in security engineering/management
