Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff on project tasks.
• Review project proposals and design calculations.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Coordinate with surveyors and construction teams to facilitate project execution.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained on all job sites.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in civil engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Geotechnical Engineering

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (RPE)

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational
