Pricing Actuary

Job Description

As a Pricing Actuary in our Sandton office, you will utilize your actuarial skills to develop and implement pricing strategies for our insurance products. This role requires a thorough understanding of statistical methods and market trends to ensure competitive pricing while managing risk effectively. You'll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to analyze data and produce comprehensive reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing workshops to facilitate collaboration across departments.
• Assess the adequacy of existing pricing models and propose improvements.
• Train junior actuaries on best practices in pricing and analysis.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that could affect pricing strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics
• Postgraduate qualifications in Actuarial Science are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in pricing strategies or actuarial consultancy
