Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Power Distribution Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves designing and implementing innovative electrical distribution systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced electrical distribution systems.
• Perform system audits and make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive electrical solutions.
• Draft technical documentation and ensure proper project reporting.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and assist in vendor selection.
• Provide training and mentorship to entry-level engineers.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies in power distribution.
• Participate in safety assessments and risk management activities.
• Prepare cost estimates and project budgets.
• Engage with clients to ensure project alignment with their expectations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred
