Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for managing financial records, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Organize and maintain financial records.
• Analyze financial data for insight into the company’s finances.
• Support in audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Train junior accounting staff as needed.
• Monitor financial performance and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with teams to streamline financial processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• Master's degree in Accounting preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of accounting experience, particularly in a corporate environment
