Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon in our Pretoria clinic, you will provide high-quality veterinary services including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures. You will work closely with pet owners to educate them on their pets' health needs and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient. Responsibilities

  • Assist with shelter or rescue organizations and adoptive services.
  • Ensure effective client communication and service delivery.
  • Conduct health assessments during routine check-ups.
  • Train and mentor new staff members and interns.
  • Participate in local veterinary initiatives and community events.
  • Maintain clinic equipment and ensure sanitary conditions.
  • Supervise veterinary technicians and support staff.
  • Participate in case discussions and collaborative treatment approaches.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
  • Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical veterinary practice
