Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Risk Modeling Analyst to join our team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science, statistical analysis, and risk assessment, focusing on developing robust risk models to support our financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement risk reporting systems to track key risk indicators.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk models and propose enhancements.
• Work closely with actuaries to align modeling approaches with best practices.
• Develop training materials for staff on risk modeling and analysis tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
• Relevant certification from a recognized body (e.g., CERA) is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in actuarial modeling or risk evaluation
