Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of automotive systems and a passion for vehicle maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair mechanical and electrical problems in various vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes and brake inspections.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians.
• Follow work orders and complete reports on time.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Advanced qualification in automotive technology preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in automotive repair

Technical Skills

• Engine Repair Knowledge
• Electrical Systems Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
• Valid Driver's License

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Experience with Hybrid Vehicles: Knowledge and experience in servicing and maintaining hybrid vehicles.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in supervising or leading a team of technicians.
