Underwriter

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Underwriter to assess risks and determine appropriate insurance coverage for our clients. In this role, you will work closely with brokers and clients to evaluate applications, analyze data, and make informed decisions that align with company policies. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients receive the most suitable insurance products tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze data points to determine coverage eligibility.
• Prepare written reports outlining underwriting decisions.
• Communicate policy terms and conditions clearly to clients.
• Identify emerging risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Review and adjust existing policies as necessary.
• Provide training and support to junior underwriters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or related field
• Master’s degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of underwriting experience preferred

Certifications

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)

• English: Fluent
