Pharmacist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Pharmacy Solutions. The ideal candidate should be passionate about patient care and have a solid understanding of pharmaceutical practices and regulations. As a pharmacist, you will dispense medications, provide expert advice on drug interactions, and support patients in managing their health.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and standards.
• Provide expert guidance on medication therapy management.
• Assist in training pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams on patient treatment plans.
• Address patient inquiries and resolve medication-related problems.
• Implement best practices for medication storage and inventory management.
• Facilitate patient adherence programs.
• Conduct health assessments and recommend over-the-counter products.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Master's degree in Pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting

• South African Pharmacy Council Registration
