Actuarial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will focus on creating and validating actuarial models, conducting various assessments, and making recommendations based on statistical analyses. As part of our organisation, you’ll contribute to risk management strategies and assist in developing actuarial reports for clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and inform decision-making.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on quantitative assessments.
• Collaborate with underwriters to develop pricing strategies.
• Support research initiatives within the actuarial department.
• Document methodologies and assumptions used in actuarial evaluations.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Fellowship or Associate status with a recognized actuarial society is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in an actuarial role, preferably in insurance or finance
