Job Description

As a Research Scientist at Innovative Research Corp., you will be integral to our research efforts in Port Elizabeth. We are looking for candidates with a strong analytical background who can manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring high standards of scientific integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments in the field of environmental research.
• Analyze experimental data using statistical methods and software tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and other scientists to develop new research protocols.
• Write and publish research papers in reputable scientific journals.
• Present research findings at conferences and seminars.
• Stay updated with the latest scientific developments in your area of expertise.
• Assist in grant writing for research funding applications.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
• Postdoctoral research experience is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of research experience in a laboratory or field setting

Technical Skills

• Statistical Analysis Software (e.g., R, SPSS)

Languages
