Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, keen analytical skills, and an ability to interpret financial data to assist in strategic planning. You will be responsible for analyzing financial reports, forecasting trends, and advising on investment strategies to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
• Assess the financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Cooperate with financial executives to set and meet financial goals.
• Develop financial models to support business planning and decision making.
• Evaluate financial performance and forecast future revenues and expenditures.
• Monitor and analyze results of financial reports and suggest improvements.
• Assist in the budgeting process and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree or additional qualifications in finance is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in financial analysis

• Forecasting and Budgeting

Certifications

• ACCA or CIMA is an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent
