Job Description

We are in search of an experienced Production Systems Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in industrial engineering, specifically in systems optimization and production processes. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing production systems and suggest enhancements based on industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in production processes.
• Assist in the development of new product lines and integration into existing systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend maintenance schedules.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in production processes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role

• Six Sigma
• CAD Software

Certifications

• Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
