Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance our infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to improve the reliability and scalability of our systems. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring solutions to ensure systems are operating optimally.
• Collaborate with development teams to define service-level objectives and ensure they are met.
• Manage incident response and problem resolution processes.
• Automate manual processes and improve system reliability.
• Conduct regular system performance reviews and capacity planning.
• Act as a liaison between developers and operations teams.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud-based solutions to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a site reliability or DevOps role

Technical Skills

• Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Linux Administration
• Scripting (Python/Go)

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker): Understanding of various container technology to improve service agility.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform): Knowledge in managing infrastructure using Terraform for efficiency.
