Responsibilities

• Perform grooming duties with compassion and care for each pet.
• Handle pets gently and professionally to minimize stress.
• Create grooming schedules and manage appointments effectively.
• Assist in marketing efforts to promote our grooming services.
• Keep accurate records of each pet’s grooming history and any client preferences.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Animal Care or Grooming

Experience

• 3+ years in a grooming role

Technical Skills

• Dog and Cat Grooming
• Grooming Tools Operation

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Time Management

Certifications

• Advanced Grooming Techniques
• Basic Animal First Aid

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Previous experience in a busy grooming salon: Ability to handle high volumes of grooming requests efficiently.
• Familiarity with pet behaviour: Understanding animal behaviour to provide a stress-free grooming experience.
