Job Description

Join our team as a Veterinary Surgeon, where you will be responsible for providing comprehensive veterinary care. This role involves performing surgical procedures, conducting regular check-ups, and building relationships with our clients to promote the health and well-being of their pets.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgeries and medical procedures on animals.
• Examine animals to diagnose health issues.
• Administer vaccinations and medications.
• Advise pet owners on nutrition and preventative care.
• Communicate with clients about animal health concerns.
• Maintain accurate medical records of all patients.
• Assist in the training of veterinary nurses and interns.
• Participate in ongoing education and training
• Develop treatment plans in partnership with clients.
• Manage and organize clinic resources effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
• Additional certifications in veterinary surgery are a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of veterinary experience, including surgical expertise.
