Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Pretoria. You will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding medical and surgical care to our animal patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary medicine, excellent communication skills, and a passion for animal welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals and diagnose their medical conditions.
  • Perform surgeries and manage anesthesia for procedures.
  • Develop treatment plans and advise pet owners on care.
  • Educate clients about preventative care options.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results.
  • Maintain stock of medical supplies and medications.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss cases and improvements.
  • Engage in continuous learning to keep up with veterinary advancements.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with additional certifications in surgery or emergency care preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in veterinary practice preferred
