Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Specialist to enhance health initiatives in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and evaluating public health programs aimed at improving community health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of public health projects.
• Analyze public health data to inform program strategies.
• Work with local governments to implement health policies.
• Create partnerships with local health agencies and nonprofits.
• Provide training and support to healthcare staff.
• Evaluate program outcomes and report findings.
• Plan and execute community health events and campaigns.
• Stay current on public health trends and legislative changes.
• Assist in the preparation of public health research publications.
• Manage budgets for health programs and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's in Public Health (MPH) is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public health
