We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. Responsibilities

• Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools.
• Investigate and respond to security breaches and incidents.
• Maintain and update documentation related to security policies.
• Support compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct security awareness workshops for staff members.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate secure coding practices.
• Monitor and review access controls and permissions across systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Master's degree or additional certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with hands-on experience in threat detection and incident response
