Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Writer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and updating various technical documents, including user manuals, online help guides, and API documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical concepts, combined with excellent writing skills to convey complex ideas clearly and simply.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and informative technical content for diverse mediums.
• Ensure documentation projects are delivered on time and of high quality.
• Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
• Engage with product teams to understand user requirements.
• Use feedback to iterate and improve documentation materials.
• Explore and recommend new tools and technologies for documentation.
• Document processes and workflows for internal training purposes.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance documentation strategies.
• Provide support for webinars or presentations when needed.
• Keep up with industry trends and best practices in technical writing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in technical communication or documentation roles

Technical Skills

• Documentation Tools

Languages

• English: Fluent
