We are in search of a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of data processing and analytics techniques, helping us derive actionable insights from various data sources. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring data quality, and contributing to data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources for reporting.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of data collection and analysis methods.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Coordinate with IT to ensure data infrastructure meets analytical needs.
• Assist in training team members on data analytics tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Master's degree in Data Science or Statistics is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis

Technical Skills

• Advanced SQL
• Excel VBA
• Python and R for Data Analysis
• Data Visualization (Tableau, Matplotlib)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in SAS or similar analytics tools: Experience with SAS or similar analytical tools for data analysis.
