Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our passionate team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of mental health issues, therapeutic techniques, and have a genuine desire to help others improve their mental well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and assessments.
  • Create effective treatment plans based on clinical findings.
  • Deliver therapeutic services that adhere to ethical and professional standards.
  • Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Work with families to provide support and guidance in the treatment process.
  • Conduct workshops on mental health awareness and coping mechanisms.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality regulations in client interactions.
  • Collaborate with community organizations to provide resources.
  • Maintain accurate and updated documentation in client files.
  • Stay informed about emerging research and therapy techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Mental Health Counseling
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in therapeutic settings
