Job Description

As an Industrial Engineer in Johannesburg, you will leverage your analytical skills to design and improve systems and processes. This position involves data analysis, project management, and hands-on collaboration with production teams to ensure effective operations across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies to enhance efficiency in production line operations.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to minimize waste and enhance workflow.
• Identify areas of risk in operational processes and develop contingency plans.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on new engineering systems and processes.
• Conduct audits for compliance to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate on cross-department projects to align engineering initiatives with business objectives.
• Prepare reports and proposals summarizing findings and recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering or a similar role
