Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Local Pharmacy Co. in Durban, you will engage in patient consultations, ensure proper medication management, and contribute to community health initiatives. Your goal will be to promote medication safety and enhance patient health literacy.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on their proper use.
• Conduct health screenings and promote wellness initiatives.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Manage inventory levels and assist in stock management.
• Provide education on over-the-counter products and health supplements.
• Respond to medication inquiries and resolve patient issues promptly.
• Participate in community outreach programs to raise health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist
