Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and generating insights that support our business objectives. This role demands a deep understanding of data mining techniques and statistical analysis, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data sets to derive meaningful insights.
• Develop predictive models using advanced statistical analysis.

• Create data visualizations and dashboards for reporting.
• Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources.
• Implement machine learning algorithms for forecasting and optimization.
• Conduct A/B testing to validate data-driven strategies.
• Document findings and effectively communicate results to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data science
