Job Description

As a Metallurgical Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for planning and designing processes to extract metals from ores. You will collaborate with engineers and chemists to refine and manufacture metal products, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality in every project.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the extraction of metals from ores.
• Develop innovative methods for refining metals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure production quality.
• Monitor operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead training sessions for staff on metallurgical processes.
• Collaborate with R&D to create new material products.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies.
• Document and report project progress to the management.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new processes and systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent
• Master’s degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the metallurgy sector
