DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to work on our cloud computing projects in Cape Town! In this role, you will streamline our deployment processes and enhance application performance. You will work with both development and operations teams to create a more efficient workflow and improve system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies.
• Automate manual processes to improve productivity.
• Ensure the efficiency of the existing infrastructure by identifying bottlenecks.
• Work with the engineering team to implement application updates.
• Establish monitoring solutions for all cloud services and resources.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architecture and policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar capacity
