Bookkeeper

Join us as a Bookkeeper where you will manage and record financial transactions, produce monthly financial reports, and assist with audits. We're looking for someone who pays great attention to detail, is organized, and has a passion for finance to help our clients thrive.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile discrepancies and recommend operational improvements.
• Assist clients in understanding their financial obligations.
• Ensure timely payment of sales tax and other relevant taxes.
• Support financial forecasting and strategic planning.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of financial data.
• Maintain relationships with clients through regular communication.
• Liaise with external accountants as needed.
• Advise clients on financial decisions and strategies.
• Assist in the setup of financial systems for new clients.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance

Experience

• Experience in tax preparation and understanding of finance regulations

Certifications

• QuickBooks Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with tax preparation software: Familiarity with software such as SARS eFiling for tax submissions.
