Job Description

We are in search of a talented Software Architect to lead our development efforts in Cape Town. You will be at the forefront of designing and implementing architecture strategies that drive software quality, scalability, and maintainability. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create robust solutions meeting customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive software architecture plans aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with front-end and back-end teams to ensure seamless integration of various components.
• Review and refine code for architectural integrity and compliance.
• Analyze performance metrics to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Prepare and present architectural plans to stakeholders for approval.
• Document architectural decisions and maintain a repository of architecture documentation.
• Provide technical guidance in the software development lifecycle from inception to deployment.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and architectural methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Master's degree advantageous

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software development and architecture
