Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

Seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to lead efforts in protecting client data and enhancing system security. You'll work collaboratively with IT teams to implement security measures, conduct assessments, and respond to incidents. Candidates should have a solid background in cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve clients' network security protocols.
• Identify potential security risks and recommend measures to address them.
• Engage in continuous monitoring of security systems.
• Prepare detailed reports on security status and incidents.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on cybersecurity matters.
• Implement advanced security solutions tailored to client needs.
• Participate in cybersecurity response exercises.
• Assist in vendor evaluations regarding cybersecurity products.
• Create customized security training materials for client personnel.
• Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of security initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Professional certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity
