Job Description

As an IT Helpdesk Technician, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, assisting end-users with IT-related issues. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software problems, managing user accounts, and providing guidance on IT policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of computer systems, and a proactive approach to customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Handle first-level support tickets and escalate as needed.
  • Ensure timely resolution of technical inquiries to maintain productivity.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure system stability.
  • Train users on new software applications and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with IT team members on projects.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes to enhance IT services.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support role
