We are seeking a talented Animator to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will bring characters and stories to life through your creative animation skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing their artistic talent and experience in various animation styles.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed character animations and complex visual effects.
• Work under the guidance of the Animation Director to maintain project standards.
• Implement feedback from clients and team members to refine animations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality output.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animation or Digital Media
• Experience or portfolio demonstrating strong animation skills is essential

Experience

• 2+ years of industry experience

Technical Skills

• Blender
• Toon Boom Harmony

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Time Management

Certifications

• Animation Mentor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with VR and AR animations: Knowledge of creating animations for virtual and augmented reality applications.
• Proficiency in storytelling through animation: Ability to convey narratives effectively through animated visuals.
