Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure while working closely with development teams to streamline our deployments. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, virtualization technologies, and orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate cloud infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure smooth deployment cycles.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Conduct security assessments and implement best practices.
• Maintain system documentation for infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering roles

• Azure

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
