Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Investment Banker to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will play a critical part in advising clients on their financial needs and helping to structure deals that meet their requirements. You will be instrumental in driving successful transactions in the investment banking sector, requiring strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client negotiations and coordinate due diligence processes.
• Evaluate and manage risks associated with investment strategies.
• Train and mentor junior analysts and support staff.
• Participate in networking events to promote the firm and attract clients.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields

Technical Skills

• Risk Management
• Portfolio Management

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• CFA Level 1 or 2 preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
