Security Engineer

Job Description

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to analyse and improve the security of our systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud security solutions.
• Conduct penetration testing and risk assessments on systems and apps.
• Provide detailed reports on security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
• Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Train staff on security awareness and incident response procedures.
• Conduct security incident investigations and generate reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field
