UX Designer

Job Description

Looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will utilize their skills in wireframing, prototyping, and user testing to drive user-centric design solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to define project scope and objectives.
• Mentor junior designers in UX fundamentals and best practices.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to innovate design solutions.
• Create design presentations for stakeholder buy-in.
• Evaluate design solutions for effectiveness and user satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Master's degree in User Experience Design is an added advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• User Research Methods
• Responsive Design

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Effective communication

Certifications

• UX Design Certification from a recognized institution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript: Basic knowledge of front-end technologies for better collaboration with developers.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Familiarity with WCAG and ARIA guidelines.
