Data Engineer

Job Description

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in helping us harness the power of our data. In this role, you will support the data engineering team in developing and maintaining data workflows, ensuring the accuracy and availability of data for analytics teams, and engaging with stakeholders to identify data needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to gather data requirements and insights for analytics.
• Assist in the data model design and implementation.
• Conduct data profiling and analysis for quality checks.
• Develop technical documentation and user guides for data workflows.
• Contribute to meetings regarding data strategy and initiatives.
• Stay updated with new data technologies and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Data Engineering or Analytics is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in data engineering or data analysis

Technical Skills

• SQL
• Python
• ETL Tools

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Apache Spark: Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Spark.
