Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our talented team in East London. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires a hands-on approach along with strong communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from conceptual design through to completion.
• Utilize CAD software for designing plans and project layouts.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments on proposed projects.
• Prepare and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Develop and implement best practices for project delivery.
• Monitor and evaluate project performance and suggest improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for project enhancements and innovations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering
