Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Description

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers. We're looking for someone who is passionate about cloud technologies, with a solid understanding of DevOps practices and cloud architecture principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure according to best practices.
• Partner with developers to create scalable applications in the cloud.
• Ensure that cloud resources follow compliance and governance policies.
• Prepare reports and present cloud performance metrics to management.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate continuous improvement through feedback and analytics.
• Utilize tools for resource management and monitoring.
• Conduct capacity planning and disaster recovery testing.
• Help in application migration to the cloud.
• Mentor junior staff on cloud engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cloud solutions and DevOps methodologies

• AWS & Azure
• DevOps Methodologies

• Project Management

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent
