Network Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Network Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to implement innovative solutions, ensure network reliability, and collaborate with other IT professionals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement new networking hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot issues with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking components.
• Formulate and maintain networking policies and procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on network equipment.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to safeguard network integrity.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal users.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years experience in network engineering or related field
