Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, development, and project management of various civil engineering projects. A strong focus on quality and innovation is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain project schedules using project management software.
  • Collaborate with the design team to optimize engineering solutions.
  • Document all project changes and manage the change order process.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Assist in the commissioning of engineering projects.
  • Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Review contract documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for staff.
  • Provide insights on project performance and efficiency.
  • Adhere to environmental standards and sustainability goals.

Requirements

Education
  • National Diploma in Civil Engineering or comparable qualification
  • Project Management certification is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in infrastructure projects
