Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager at Logistics Solutions Ltd., you will oversee daily operations in our Durban facility. You will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing inventory management systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background and experience in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse operations and staff management.
• Optimize processes for product handling and storage.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Interface with suppliers and customers regarding deliveries.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for the warehouse.
• Recruit and train new warehouse staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Administration
• Certifications in warehousing are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with ISO standards: Understanding of ISO standards related to warehousing would be beneficial.
