Job Description

As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our clients and staff in Johannesburg. You’ll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain network systems, and ensure the effective functioning of IT services.

Responsibilities

• Offer technical assistance and support to staff.
• Set up and install computer systems and peripherals.
• Manage system updates and patches.
• Provide training support for IT programs and initiatives.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
• Test and evaluate new technologies before implementation.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with IT trends.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Science or a related field
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of IT support experience

Technical Skills

• Windows and Linux OS
• Remote Desktop Support

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Customer Service Orientation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• ITIL Foundation Certification: Knowledge of ITIL best practices and frameworks.
• Experience with Office 365: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 software and services.
