Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing team in Cape Town. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity protocols. Ideal candidates will have experience with threat analysis and a desire to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular audits of information security systems.
• Investigate and report on security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
• Keep current with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulations are met.
• Develop and refine security policies to enhance organizational security.
• Manage security tools and ensure they are appropriately configured.
• Lead initiatives to improve overall cybersecurity awareness among staff.
• Provide technical support to employees for security-related issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field
