We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll advise clients on various tax matters, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and help minimize tax liabilities. Responsibilities

• Interpret tax laws and regulations, advising clients on their application.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and communicate them to clients.
• Support clients during tax audits by collecting and organizing required documents.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive tax compliance.
• Organize client meetings to discuss tax strategies and ensure their understanding.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, enhancing client retention.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of practical experience in taxation

• Tax Compliance

Certifications

• Tax Adviser Certificate
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
